Who are we?

Physical medicine and rehabilitation, also known as rehabilitation medicine or physiatry, aims to enhance and restore functional ability and improve quality of life to individuals with physical impairments or disabilities affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons. PM&R physicians, also called physiatrists, focus on the whole patient and address the physical, mental, and emotional needs of the patient.
